To check the file, run shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/FoldRemoteHelper.dmg in Terminal and compare the result with the SHA-256 above.

Install

  1. Open FoldRemoteHelper.dmg.
  2. Drag FoldRemote Helper to your Applications folder.
  3. Launch FoldRemote Helper from Applications. Its icon shows up in the menu bar.
  4. Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and turn on FoldRemote Helper under Screen Recording and again under Accessibility.

Then open FoldRemote on iPhone Duo and enter the 6‑digit code from the helper’s menu. If the phone shows a moving test pattern, Screen Recording is still off. More fixes are on the support page.
